My Mother, Sarah McBurnett worked with Ms. Eloise and they car pooled together for many years. I still have memories of my mother climbing into the Brown Station Wagon that Ms. Eloise Drove early in the morning and then the ladies rolling back home in the afternoon. I remember my mother retelling the "discussions" (I think it was called gossip too) that the ladies had during their rides to and from work. Ms. Eloise would wave whenever I was out in the yard when they arrived (which was most of the time).
And now, she will rest in the same place with my mother and now Aunt Mary. Maybe they will car pool together again.
