Ms. Rebecca Sue Strickland's Obituary
Graveside services for Ms. Rebecca Sue Strickland, 68 of Pell City, will be Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 1 pm at Hepzibah Baptist Cemetery in Renfroe. Ms. Strickland went home to be with the Lord on the afternoon of Saturday, August 24 at Brookwood Medical Center.
Rebecca Sue was born on November 3, 1944 in Talladega to John Thomas and Maddie Lou Strickland. She loved Alabama football and considered herself their #1 fan.
Ms. Strickland is preceded in death by her parents John and Maddie Strickland, her sister Patricia Strickland Hurst, and her brother Charles Strickland. She leaves behind her brother Allen “Red” Strickland, two sisters-in-law: Francis Strickland and Sue Strickland Harig, and nine nephews and nieces.
The following men will serve as pallbearers: Tim Strickland, Red Strickland, Taylor Strickland, Chris Murphy, Robert Strickland, and Craig Strickland.
