One of my favorite memories of my Aunt Sue was when i was a kid, and even into adulthood, that she would just love to stir things up just for the heck of it....I remember her getting my Aunt Pat all in a tizzy over some silly subject and then looking over at me and grinning like crazy ....as a kid i just thought that was the funniest thing ever....one adult purposely riling up another adult...it made me feel like my Aunt Sue was a kid like me and she remained that kid for her entire life which I really wish wasn't over now...all i can say is i'll carry my memories of her with me until mine is over also.
Roll Tide my crazy & adorable Aunt Sue!
Your favorite nephew Craig(had to say that since i know Tim is reading this!)
I am the girl who married Rebecca Sue Strickland's nephew, Craig Strickland. We had a very small and private wedding and when I tossed my bouquet Aunt Sue caught it. While it is true that doing such did not find her a husband it did gift us with a sweet and humorous memory related to her veracity that was so evident in her attempt! She will be remembered often and with fondness by all of us who's lives and hearts she touched.
Thank you Aunt Sue! Love,
Linda Strickland

Aunt Sue, I will always remember your loving me and accepting me as family. I loved the way you snickered and your mischievous nature. Tim, Taylor and I were blessed by having so many visits with you, especially on holidays. Will never forget the Christmas tree falling on you one night as you slept. You didn't blink an eye about it. Just got up, put it back together and went back to sleep. Your passion for all things Alabama football never waivered. You enjoyed your candy, cherished family and were generous of heart. Rest in peace in the loving arms of the Lord. I love you, Toni
