We are so sorry to hear about Lelus' passing. He was there to support us when we had to lay our mother/mother-in-law Doris Roe to rest, and one year later our aunt Marquita. He was an amazing man full of love and compassion. He will be dearly missed.

My condolences to the family as my prayers are with you. I grew up across the street from Mr. Hammond and talked with him at the racetrack a few years back , he was always friendly and loved farming. He will be missed and always in our hearts.

I am very sorry to hear of the loss of Mr. Hammond. I image he was an amazing man. I won't pretend to know what you're going through, but what has helped me deal with the loss of those I love is turning to the Scriptures, something that has been a real source of comfort. One Scripture that gives me hope is Isaiah 26:19, which says, "Your dead will live... Awake and shout joyfully, you residents in the dust! For your dew is as the dew of the morning, and the earth will let those powerless in death come to life."
