My Uncle George was one of a kind. We enjoyed a close relationship by being part of our nuclear family since birth. Sharing our life journey with him. The good and the bad. Blessed with a purpose beyond our human understanding. Thanks for so many lessons learned through our journey. I'll meet with our united spirits on the other side. God's hands now.
Uncle George made a huge impact on my life and the life of everyone he knew. He taught me how to fish and how to chew gum “trident” and he always had a fresh pack in his shirt pocket. He was always ready to play a game of catch or swing me and my brother when we were little, or to share a story of Bear Bryant and the Alabama of ole, even though I was an Auburn fan. He taught us never to let anyone out work you no matter how tired you were. Never to quit and that hard work makes a man. I know Uncle George is resting now with Mable and his son and his sweet sister Hattie in Heaven! Race well run my dear friend, race well run!
