Mrs. Betty Jo Campbell Schall's Obituary
A Memorial Service for Mrs. Betty Jo “Mom”/ “NaNa” Campbell Schall, 65 of Ragland, will be held Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 6 PM at Talladega Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Bailey officiating. The family will gather Saturday at 3:30 PM and will begin receiving friends Saturday afternoon at 5 PM. Mrs. Schall passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Regional Medical Center in Anniston.
Mrs. Schall was a member of Providence Baptist Church in Ragland. She was a loving mother and grandmother who was known as “Mom” and “NaNa” to her family, friends, and those she chose to add to her family in her heart. Loved and admired by many, no one ever left her home hungry or without hearing “I love you. Be Careful.”
She is preceded in death by her father Joe Gay Campbell, Sr.; her mother Margaret Gwendolyn Campbell; and her brother Joe Gay Campbell, Jr. She leaves behind her husband Jacob G. Schall, III; her son John P. Schall; her daughter Crystal Schall; 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; her sister Nancy Robertson (Gerald); and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family would like to recognize the following men as honorary pallbearers: JD Schall, Daniel Schall, William L. Smith, III, Jimmy Lee St. John, Marty McCormick, Eric Webb, Wayne Bailey, William Gerald Robertson, II, Timothy Robertson, Jack Albert Schall, Jr., Heath Schall, and Timothy Dean Phillips.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society for Myelofibrosis Research. The donation may be made at donate.lls.org.
