Mrs. Winnie Ruth Irwin's Obituary
Talladega-Mrs. Winnie Ruth Irwin, 95, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2023. Mrs. Irwin was Pentecostal by faith and a member of Limbaugh Chapel where she was the secretary at the Church for around 35 years. She was also in the Ladies ministries. She is preceded in death by her parents: Harry and Vista Hall; husband: John P. Irwin; daughter: Phyllis Jones; 2 brothers: Joe and Robert Hall; 1 sister: Virginia Carl. She is survived by her daughter: Brenda Elaine Grantham; 2 sisters: Evelyn Burk, Mary Jo Martin; 3 grandchildren: Terrie Henderson (Allen), Johnathan Jones (Amanda), Matthew Jones (April); 6 great grandchildren: Zachary Waites, Samuel Waites, Andi Suggs, Gage Henderson, Trevor Jones, John Darryl Adams; former son in law: David Jones (Carolyn); A host of other nieces, nephews family and friends. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 2, 2023 from 6:00pm-8:00pm in the Talladega Funeral Home Chapel for visitation. The service will be Sunday, September 3, 2023 at 3:00pm at Limbaugh Chapel Church with Bro. Billy Epperson and Bro. Johnathan Jones officiating. Pallbearers will be Steve Martin, David Jones, Zachary Waites, Samuel Waites, Glenn Bates and Brandon Bates. Honorary pallbearers are Allen Henderson, Allen Miller, Ricky Burk, Mike Feazell and Steve Parker. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
