Mr. Willie Tipton Jr.'s Obituary
Talladega-Willie Tipton, Jr., 84, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and other activities and also had a special love for his dog “Rock”. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Tressie Tipton; son, Jerry “Scott” Tipton; daughter, Joyce Ann Tipton; grandson, Jeremy Tipton; sister, Eunice McBurnett; 3 brothers, Vester Tipton; Floyd Tipton; and Cecil Tipton. He is survived by his wife, Betty Ann Tipton; 2 sons, Terry Tipton (Kim); Ray Tipton; 3 sisters, Ann Tipton Pody; Lois Kendrick (Pate); Christine Blankenship; 7 grandchildren, Crystal Malcom; Christopher Tipton; Rachel Tipton; Ryan Darden (Chris); Hannah Hawkins (Joe); Terri Lynn Tipton; Brandy Hayes (Mike); 13 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild. The family will have a graveside service for Mr. Tipton on Monday, February 14, 2022, at 1:00PM at East Providence Baptist Church with Rev. Jacky Morgan officiating. Pallbearers will be Glenn Smith; Charles Smith; Mark Wiggins; Randy Wiggins; Gary Logan; and Johnny Wiggins. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
