Willie Mitchell's Obituary
Funeral Services for Ms. Willie Mae Mitchell, 100 of Talladega, will be Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 1 pm at Talladega Funeral Home with Rev. Brad Bridges officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Methodist Cemetery in Munford. The family will be receiving friends tonight from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Ms. Mitchell passed away Monday at her residence.
Ms. Mitchell is preceded in death by her husband Hadron Mitchell, 3 sons James Mitchell, Marvin Mitchell, and Wesley Mitchell, and 1 daughter Ida Mae Shirey.
She is survived by her son George (Elaine) Mitchell, 5 daughters Idell (Buddy) Evans, Pauline (Robert) Green, Verna (David) Turner, Rose Mary (Michael) Shulch, and Arleen Mitchell, 32 grandchildren, 74 great grandchildren, and 52 great great grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Ms. Mitchell's nurse Karmen from Amedysis Hospice and Dr. Clay Davis and staff for their care.
Talladega Funeral Home will direct the services.
