Mrs. Willie Jean McMichael's Obituary
Talladega-Mrs. Willie Jean McMichael, 84, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022. She loved concerts, being with her family, yard sales, her grandchildren, trucks, fishing, camping, and life in general. She is preceded in death by her husband: Billy Joe McMichael; her parents: John and Fannie Turner; and 2 sisters: Mary Haynes, Nell Craighead; She is survived by 2 daughters: Wendy Williams (Larry), Lisa Marie Ward (Coley); 4 grandchildren: Crystal Vendur (Tony), Jessica Hutton (Charles), Elizabeth Cotton, Kelcey Kelly (Ronnie); 10 great grandchildren; and sister in law: Bertha June Edmiston (Ed). The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, from 6:00PM-8:00PM in the Talladega Funeral Home Chapel for visitation. The service will be Thursday, October 20, 2022, at 2:00PM in the Chapel with Rev. Steven Jones and Rev. Ottis Graves officiating. Burial will be at Pine Hill Memorial Park. The pallbearers will be Charles Hutton, Lex Hutton, Ronnie Kelly, Larry Williams, Coley Ward, and Tony Vendur. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
