William Rogers' Obituary
Funeral Services for William "Bill" Rogers, 40 of Munford, will be at 12 pm on Monday, November 7, 2011 at Salt Creek Falls Baptist Church with Rev. Curtis Collett officiating. The family will begin receiving friends at 11 AM at the church. Mr. Rogers died Saturday at Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Heidi Surrett Rogers, his daughter Courtnie Rogers, his son Cody Rogers, his father Bill Rogers, his mother Evelyn Williams Cox and her husband Don, sisters Becky Bullock and her husband Johnny, Sheila Williams, and Melissa Prtchett.
Pallbearers will be Frankey Arthur, Ernie Surrett II, Tim Surrett, Johnny Bullock, Louie Irvin, and Tim Taylor. Honorary Pallbearers will be James Arthur, Tyler Surrett, Matt Surrett, Walker Surrett, Jordan Bullock, Josh Bullock, and Andy Strickland.
Mr. Rogers was a resident of Munford, Alabama. Bill was a very avid hunter, woodsmen, and fisherman. He was also a devoted husband and father, and truly loved his children. He was preceded in death by his father who raised him, Richard Waldrop.
