William Lathem's Obituary
Funeral Services for Mr. William Morgan "Morg" Lathem, 81 of Munford, will be Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 2 pm at Talladega Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Munford Cemetery. The family received friends Monday night from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Lathem passed away Sat. afternoon at his home.
Mr. Lathem was a member of Munford Baptist Church and retired from Hubbard Farms. He was a loving son, brother, and uncle. He was preceded in death by his parents Theodore and Lula Mae Lathem, 3 brothers Gene Lathem, Dan Lathem, and Duck Lathem, and one sister Lucy Elder. He leaves behind his brothers Bill Lathem, Roy Lathem, Ray Lathem (Paula), Ted Lathem (Elizabeth), and Jerry Lathem, his sister Lee Smith, his loving niece and caregiver Greta Lathem Campos (Mario), and special friends Milton Cochron, John Trickett, members of his Sunday School class and of Munford Baptist Church. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Renee Staude and staff of Munford (BHC) Clinic, Amedisys Home Health Care, and Oasis Hospice.
Pallbearers will be Rex Elder, Justin Lathem, Jared Lathem, Wyatt Harmon, Larry Gilmore, and Wayne Smith.
