Mr. Walter "Buddy" Vincent's Obituary
TALLADEGA- Graveside Services for Walter B. "Buddy" Vincent, 74 of Talladega, will be Friday, Nov. 22 at 1 pm at Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday night from 6 to 8 pm at Talladega Funeral Home. Mr. Vincent passed away Tuesday at Regional Medical Center in
Anniston.
Mr. Vincent, a lifelong resident of Talladega, retired from Anniston Army Depot after 23 years of service. He was a veteran and served four years in the United States Navy. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, and will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
Mr. Vincent is preceded in death by his wife of 45 years Janette Vincent, his parents Louie and Carrie Vincent, two brothers Eugene and Hayden Vincent, and two sisters Gladys McCraven and Betty Tanner.
He is survived by his three daughters Rebecca Shirey (Alvin), Melissa Vincent, and Candy Bertoli
of CA; grandchildren Justin Shirey and Amanda Shirey, great granddaughter Mackenzie Walters, brother Louie Vincent, sisters Norma Bowden and Doris Mason, his friend Dee Bertoli of CA, and his dog Buzzy, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Alvin Shirey, Michael Walters, John Pressley, Roger Shirey, Wayne Blackmon,
and Keith Osborn.
