Mrs. Vivanay Abbott Bice's Obituary
Talladega-Mrs. Vivanay Abbott Bice, 85, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024. Mrs. Bice loved to craft and flower garden. She is preceded in death by her husband: James Henry Bice; parents: James and Bulah Mae Abbott; and an infant brother and sister. She is survived by 1 son: Mardis Cosby (Barbara); 3 daughters: Brenda Bice Smith, Sharon East (Woodie), Karin Crabtree; 2 grandchildren: Corey Cosby (Jessica), Kassidy Crabtree (Chase Turley); 5 step grandchildren: Larry Wayne Smith (Susan), Amelia Shanks (Randy), Shena Caudle (Stacy), Josh East (Jasmine), Joey East (Candace); 4 great grandchildren: Zane Cosby, Jayce Cosby, Aiden Cosby, Anna Cosby; 8 step great grandchildren: Josh Brown, Jacob Brown, Taylor Shanks, Madison Shanks-Bundrum, Holey Smith, Cole Smith, Nadia East, Jillian Bailey;4 step great great grandchildren: Ava, Penelope, Maverick, Aniston; A host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, from 6:00pm-8:00pm in the Magnolia Room at Talladega Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at 11:00am in the Talladega Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Roger Young and Rev. Jacob Brown officiating. Burial will be at Pine Hill Memorial Park with Danny Bice, Casey Bice, Eddie Clayton, Josh East, Mike Crabtree, Harold Webster, and Donald Jones serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearer is Johnny Sims. The family would like to thank Southern Care New Beacon Hospice, especially Nurse Beth, for the care, dedication, and compassion that was given during their time of need. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
