Mr. Tyler Matthew Freeman's Obituary
Opelika-Tyler Matthew Freeman, 34, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022. Tyler loved to swim, riding bikes, listening to music, pretty girls, family gatherings, and playing guitar with his Uncle Danny. The love of his life was his “Aunt Woo”. He is preceded in death by his grandparents: SFC Jimmy and Dorothy Freeman; Al and Shirley Johnson; He is survived by his father: Douglas Johnson; mother: Cindy Burk; bonus dad: Jeff Burk; sister: Tina Burk; 3 brothers: Rodney Freeman (Salena Reason); Dylan Johnson; Jeffery Burk; 4 Aunts: Dorothiea Gooden (Jerry); Jamie Pearson (Terry); Dana Langley; Lois Langley (Danny) along with numerous cousins, relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 1, 2022, from 5:00PM-8:00PM in the Talladega Funeral Home Chapel for visitation. The service will be Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at 2:00PM in the Talladega Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donnie Thompson officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rodney Freeman; Emmett Pilkington; Justin Freeman; Austin Freeman; Josh Smith and Roy “Fish” Thompson. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
