Mr. Thomas "Bugs" Taylor's Obituary
Talladega-Mr. Thomas “Bugs” Taylor, 85, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023. Mr. Taylor loved his grandchildren immensely. He enjoyed tinkering on projects with his nephew, Billy Humphrey. He is preceded in death by his wife: Ouida “Cricket” Taylor; his son: Timothy Shane Taylor; parents: Robert and Pauline Taylor; 2 sisters: Beatrice McClain, Betty Taylor; and 1 nephew: Stanley McClain. He is survived by his daughter: Mistie Rose Shoemaker (Randy); 3 grandchildren: Charis Taylor Shoemaker, Daniel Wayne Shoemaker, Joy Ella Shoemaker; 4 nephews: Billy Humphrey, Danny Cotton, Terry Humphrey, Ricky McClain; 3 nieces: Rita Cotton, Joyce Plummer, and Charlene McClain. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 from 6:00pm-8:00pm in the Talladega Funeral Home Chapel for visitation. The service will be Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 11:00am in the chapel at the funeral home with Rev. Jackie Connell officiating. Burial will be at the Old Munford Cemetery. Pallbearers are Daniel Shoemaker, Shannon Humphrey, Shaun Cotton, Shawn Humphrey, Robert Taylor, and Robert Cotton. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
