Moody-Mrs. Suzanna Jarvis Self, 80, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2024. Mrs. Self enjoyed baking cakes, socializing, lake parties and spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her husband: Dennis Self; 1 daughter: Rhonda Deaton;3 siblings: Bill, Becky, and David; parents: Clifford and Violet Jarvis. She is survived by her son: David Self (Angela); son-in-law: Scott Deaton; grandchildren: Joshua Deaton (January), Suzanna Deaton, Abby Evans (Tony), Logan Self, Cole Self; great grandchildren: Marlie Rain, Beau, Gwendolyn, Bella, Ayanna; siblings: Barbara Brown, Delores Dotson, and Johnny Jarvis; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at 3:00pm at Jubilee Ministries (1919 1st Ave S. Birmingham, AL. 35210) for visitation. The service will follow at 4:00pm at the same location.
