Shirley Ann Ferrell's Obituary
Lineville- Mrs. Shirley A. Ferrell, 67, of Lineville, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2017. Visitation will be held Monday, June 26, 2017, from 6pm to 8pm, at Talladega Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at 3pm, at Clairmont Springs Baptist Church in Lineville. The Rev. Terry Smith will officiate. Mrs. Ferrell was a loving wife of over 50 years, a devoted mother, and “Nana”. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and spoiling them “rotten.” She loved helping people and was a caregiver to her family and many others. She enjoyed eating Mexican food and eating at “Logan’s Roadhouse” for their “2-fors.” She loved animals, especially horses. She will be truly missed by her family and many others. Mrs. Ferrell is preceded in death by her loving husband, Mr. Jack Ray Ferrell; grandson, Cody Ferrell; parents, Ross and Gertrude Matson; sisters, Virginia Browning, Katie Floyd, Dorothy Freeman; brothers, Walter Matson, Sr., and William (Bill) Matson. She is survived by her two sons, Warren (Mandy) Ferrell, and Derrick Ferrell; grandchildren, Dylan Ferrell, Zachery Haynes, Heather Ferrell, Colby Ferrell, and Dalton Ferrell; sisters, Martha (Chuck) Hurst, and Lois (Danny) Langley; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers for the service will be Brandon Mitchell, Roy “Fish” Thompson, Jr., Dalton Ferrell, Zackery Haynes, Colby Ferrell, and Donnie Jo Shirey. Talladega Funeral Home to direct the services.
