Talladega-Sarah Virginia Chambers, 80, passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021. Mrs. Chambers was preceded in death by her husband, Grover Chambers; parents, Howard and Hazel Dunaway; daughter, Patricia Frost; sister, Onieta Waites; 2 brothers, Howard Dunaway Jr. and Ray Dunaway. She is survived by 2 sons, Johnny Horn (Cindy); Bobby Cunningham; 3 daughters, Machiell Harvell (Lee); Sonya Gaither (Lynn); Mary Mitchell; 2 brothers, James Dunaway (Elaine), Roger Dunaway; 2 sisters, Linda Staples; Helen Bryant; 8 grandchildren, Grover Harvell (Megan); Zachary Harvell (Tiffany); Elisabeth Harvell; Brandon Brown, Chelsea Humphrey (Scottie); Ashley Mitchell; Guy C. Mitchell Jr.; and Tanner Ray Mitchell. The family will accept friends from 2PM-3PM on Friday, April 23, 2021 at Talladega Funeral Home. The service will follow at 3PM in the Talladega Funeral Home Chapel with Kevin Stephens officiating. Pallbearers will be Zachary Harvell, Guy Mitchell Jr, Scottie Humphrey, Lee Harvell, Lynn Gaither and Matthew Mitchell. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
