Sandra Lee Simpson's Obituary
Talladega- Mrs. Sandra Lee Simpson, 70, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018 at her residence. The family will receive friends at Talladega Funeral Home on Monday, October 1, 2018, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. The funeral service will begin in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Bro. David Vick will officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Simpson was a native of Talladega, and worked as a Carrier for Lab Corp. She was certified as a florist by Gadsden State Community College. She is preceded in death by her father, Henry Benefield; mother, Jessie Brown Benefield; daughter, Tina Lynn Garrison; brothers, Henry F. Benefield II and Albert S. Benefield; and stepson, Dennis Simpson. She is survived by her husband, Jesse H. Simpson; son, James Cecil Garrison, Jr. and wife Stacey; daughter, Tonya Jeanette Milam; sister, Tina Muller; stepsons, Kevin (Maria) Simpson and Ricky (Angie) Simpson; stepdaughters, Elizabeth (Stewart) Carpenter and Kaye Jackson; as well as 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Todd Garrison, Dillon Garrison, Barry Milam, Jacob Burdette, Henry Benefield III, and Courtney Thrash. Flowers will be accepted. Talladega Funeral Home will be directing the service.
