Roy Charles Plunkett's Obituary
Ray Charles Plunkett, 72, of Sylacauga, passed away January 16, 2017 at Grandview Medical Center in Vestavia, AL. Graveside service will be Wednesday, January, 18, 2017, at 12pm at Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., prior to the service, at Talladega Funeral Home. Mr. Plunkett was Baptist by faith and was a member of Mignon Baptist Church in Sylacauga. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Plunkett, of Sylacauga; daughters, Tammy Harris, Leslie Plunkett, and Amy (Jonathan) Robinson; grandchildren, Kayla (Jeremy) Mizzell, T.J. Harris, Cain Robinson, and Winston Robinson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Mattie Sue Plunkett, and son, Rodney Kirk Plunkett. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Robinson, Jeremy Mizzell, T.J. Harris, Cain Robinson, Winston Robinson. Honorary Pallbearer will be Terry Harris. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Research. Talladega Funeral Home will be directing the service.
