Sylacauga-Roy Lee Caldwell, 77, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022. He loved truck driving, working at his Church in the music department and spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents: Katherine Dinaso and Roy Lee Caldwell, Sr.; grandparents: Rev. Cleo Elder, Sr. and Audrey Elder; 1 daughter: Audrey Cullins; 1 grandson: Dakota Caldwell; his first wife: Peggy Freeman Caldwell; and 2nd wife: Lillian Woody Caldwell: 2 brothers: Mike and Danny Caldwell; and 1 nephew: Joey Davis. He is survived by 5 sons: Timothy Caldwell (Rhonda); Kenneth Caldwell; Donald Caldwell; Robert Caldwell (Nina); and Ronald Caldwell; 5 bonus children: Peggy Cureton; Mary Swan Capuano; Rhonda McCluskey; John Capuano; and Harvey Woody; 2 brothers: John “Buddy” Caldwell; Rick Caldwell (Elaine); 2 sisters: Judy Kassik (Rich); and Jo Ann Sophia (Wayne); 6 grandchildren: Mac Lee; Darby; Kelsey; Amelia; Jessica; Joshua; and 3 great grandchildren: Milo; Oaklynn and Kyler along with a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 30, 2022, in the Talladega Funeral Home Chapel for visitation from 5:00PM-7:00PM. The service will follow at 7:00PM with Rev. Earl Sanders officiating. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
