Rhoda Elizabeth Vise Smith's Obituary
Talladega- Rhoda V. Smith, 54, passed away Wednesday April 4, 2018. The family will be receiving friends Friday evening at Talladega Funeral Home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be Saturday, April 7, at 1 p.m. in the Chapel with burial following at East Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Jerry Lackey and Rev. Vincent Arnold will officiate. Family will serve as pallbearers. Mrs. Smith was of the Christian Faith and served as Co-Children’s Church Director for Harvest Bible Barn and worked as an R.N. at Talladega Healthcare and Rehab. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Elizabeth Vise; brothers, “Buster”, Lawrence, and Sam Vise; sister, Barbara Hawkins; and aunt, Clara Coursey. She is survived by her loving husband, James Smith, of Talladega; son, Jeff (Megan) Smith, of Lincoln; daughter, Beth Smith, of Lincoln; brother, Robert Vise; sister, Janie (Robert) Rogers, of Columbia, SC; and granddaughters, Morgan Smith and Logan Smith. Talladega Funeral Home will be directing the services.
