Mrs. Reba Jean Chadwick's Obituary
Lincoln-Mrs. Reba Jean Chadwick, 79, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024. Mrs. Chadwick was Baptist by faith and attended Pleasant Grove Baptist Church where she was active in the Women’s Ministry. She also enjoyed spending time and traveling with her friends. She is preceded in death by her husband: Roger Chadwick; 2 sons: Michael A. Nelson, and Brian D. Nelson. She is survived by 1 son: Phillip Nelson; 1 brother: Roland Lawler; 2 sisters: Anna Sue Lawler, Hilda Baldy; 5 grandchildren: Justin Nelson, Amber Nelson, Tyler Nelson (Heaven), Courtney Nelson, and Kayla Lee; 8 great grandchildren: Zac, Adrianna, Brody, Kamdon, Kimmy, Emerald, Aaniyah, Lillian. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 28, 2024 from 6:00pm-8:00pm in the Talladega Funeral Home Chapel for visitation. The service will be on Monday, January 29, 2024 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Chadwick will lie in state at the Church from 1:00pm-2:00pm the service will follow at 2:00pm with Dr. Clyde Pettus officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant Grove Baptist Cemetery with Justin Nelson, Tyler Nelson, Christian Blaylock and several friends from the Church serving as pallbearers. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
