Mr. Raymond D Wallace's Obituary
Funeral Services for Mr. Raymond D. Wallace, 91 of Lincoln, will be Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 2 PM at Talladega Funeral Home with Mark Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Lincoln City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday night from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Wallace passed away at his home in Lincoln Wednesday night.
Mr. Wallace was a member of Lincoln Church of Christ. He served his country in the US Navy and was a veteran of WWII. He retired from the Ft. McClellan Commissary. Mr. Wallace was preceded in death by his wife Sarah E. Wallace, and two children Daris Wallace and Linda Hutto.
Mr. Wallace is survived by his two daughters: Brenda James (Doug) and Dian Chain; his grandchildren: Lance James, Scott James, Bryana Yarbrough, Dionne Barnwell, Shaye Wingo, Brandy Ferrell, and Carla Roberts; Great Grandchildren: Nicole Rivera; Blake, Anthony, and Emily James; Kayla and Klaire Yarbrough, Ben and Brett Barnwell, Tyler and Jayden Roberts, and Trinity Ferrell; Great Great Grandchildren: Carter and Bella Rivera and Waylon and Paxton James; and his sisters: Bonnie Godwin, Penny Hicks, and Inez Bush.
Pallbearers will be: Ronnie Barnwell, Brett Barnwell, Ben Barnwell, Blake James, Donald Ray McBurnett, Anthony James, and Tyler Roberts.
