Mr. Ray V. Grace's Obituary
Funeral service for Ray V. Grace, 91 of Talladega, will be Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Talladega Funeral Home at 2pm with viewing one hour before service. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Grace passed away at Talladega Healthcare - Rehab Select Monday afternoon, October 12, 2015.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Marietta C. Grace of Talladega;
Daughter Janet (J.T) Williams of Talladega; Son Terry Grace of Daphne AL; Sisters Faye Cooper and Kaye Faulkner of Talladega; and Brother Hoyt Grace of Akin, South Carolina. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Ray was a proud veteran of WWII and a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was a sheet metal mechanic by trade, and retired from Anniston Army Depot.
He was a member of Southside Baptist Church. He was a loving husband father and grandfather and an avid motorcycle enthusiast. He loved his children and his church family. He was loved by many friends and family and will be greatly missed
Pallbearers will be Evan Grace, J.R Williams, Stacy Manning, Kevin Athur, Brandon McKerley, and Doug Griffith. Honorary Pallbearers will be Robert O'Neal and members of his Sunday school class at Southside Baptist Church
