Mr. Randall Lawley's Obituary
Talladega-Mr. Randall Lawley, 82, was promoted to Heaven on Thursday, February 8, 2024 where he longed to be with his Lord and loving wife of 42 years, Brenda. Mr. Lawley was a member of Trinity Lighthouse Church of God. He was a founding member and singer in the Revelations Quartet back in the “70’s”. He worked in radio broadcasting for over 20 years. He was a professional gospel music promoter working with Gold City, the Perry’s, Florida Boys, Squire Parsons, Dixie Echoes, the Henson’s and many other groups. Randall always loved to bring his daughter Pamela on stage at concerts and he always said, “She’s gonna sing her way right into your heart.” He is preceded in death by his wife: Brenda Lawley; parents: Rev. Grady and Martha Lawley; sister: Shirley Blake. He is survived by his daughter: Pamela Bates (Glenn); 2 bonus daughters: Rachel Moody, Tialisa Englebrecht; brother: Jerrell Lawley; 2 grandchildren: Bradley Bates, Brandon Bates; bonus granddaughter: Christina Holman; bonus great granddaughter: Lisa Bates. The family will have a graveside service for Mr. Lawley on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 2:00pm at Pine Hill Memorial Park with Bishop Billy Epperson and Mr. Lawley's nephew, Rev. Kevin Jones officiating. Grandsons, Bradley and Brandon Bates, bonus grandson, Christian Englebrecht, son-in-law, Glenn Bates, and friends, Josh Putman, Bailey Reynolds, Elijah Brown will be serving as pallbearers. The family would like to thank his nurse, Jennifer Abbott and the entire Affinity Hospice team for their love and care of Mr. Lawley. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
