Mrs. Peggy Joyce Blythe's Obituary
Talladega-Mrs. Peggy Joyce Blythe, 85, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023. She is preceded in death by her husband: Alton David Blythe; parents: Lucious and Inez Weeks; siblings: Betty Sue, Patricia and Danny Thrower. She is survived by 2 sons: David Blythe Sr. (Holly), Richard Blythe; 2 daughters: Joyce Russell (Mike), Deborah Staats (David); 1 brother: Jerry Weeks; 1 sister: Barbara Heath (Wren); 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 5, 2023 from 10:30am-11:30am in the Talladega Funeral Home Chapel for visitation. The service will follow in the chapel at 11:30am with Rev. Terry McKee officiating. Burial will be at Midway Memory Gardens. Pallbearers are David Thomas Blythe Jr., Lance Blythe, Bret Blythe, Bryant Trotter, Braden Trotter, James McKinnon, and Blain Roos. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to First Brecon Baptist Church or SouthernCare New Beacon Hospice. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
