Mrs. Paula Yarbrough Godwin's Obituary
Southside-Mrs. Paula Yarbrough Godwin, 74, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023. Mrs. Godwin is preceded in death by her parents: A.C. and Louise Yarbrough; 1 sister: Vicky Yarbrough; and 1 son: Trey Godwin. She is survived by her husband: Bill Godwin; 2 sons: Ryan Patterson (Teri), Trent Patterson (Krista); 1 brother: Andy Yarbrough (Annette); 1 sister: Vaneila Beverly (Gerald); 5 grandaughters: Hannah, Haley, Haddie, Katelyn, and Brooke Patterson. Mrs. Godwin gave to charities especially St. Jude’s. She was a prayer warrior and was in constant prayer for many people. The graveside service for Mrs. Godwin will be on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at 2:00pm at Pine Hill Memorial Park with Rev. Carol Hollis officiating. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
