Mr. Norman Ray Brewer's Obituary
Talladega-Mr. Norman Ray Brewer, 59, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023. Ray graduated from Winterboro High School in 1981 and went to work for Coosa Valley Electric Cooperative for 35 years working his way from a lineman up to operations manager. Ray loved the outdoors. He spent a lot of his time hunting and fishing with his family and friends. He cherished the memories they made together while being outdoors. He truly enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Mr. Brewer is preceded in death by his father: Marvin Brewer. He is survived by his mother: Maurine Brewer; wife: Suzanne Gilbert Brewer; son: Josh Brewer (Kim); daughter: Rachel Stephens (David); 3 sisters: Laura Campbell; Christa Hines; Kathy Freeman (Wayne); 4 grandchildren: Kyler Shaw; Tanner Brewer; Raylan Stephens, and Mason Stephens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 from 1:00pm-2:30pm in the Speed Dome at the Motorsports Hall of Fame (3198 Speedway Blvd. Lincoln, AL. 35096). The memorial service will follow at 2:30pm in the Speed Dome with Wesley Allen officiating. In lieu of flowers the family has ask that donations be made to St. Jude’s Memorial Giving (501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN. 38105). Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
