Talladega-Mrs. Norma Ellen Leavins Estes, 83, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022. She is preceded in death by her husband: Hiram Estes; her parents: Luke and Fay Leavins; and 2 brothers: Sherrill and J.L. Leavins. She is survived by her son: Winston Estes; 3 daughters: Patricia Carol Payne, Becky Johnson (Steve), Angie Thompson (Vincent): 1 brother: Jerry Leavins (Christy); 2 sisters: Vera Simpson, Pat Stipes (Larry); 9 grandchildren: Wayne Davis, Nicole Brown, Rachel Gardner, Jacob Estes, Steven Paul Johnson, Seth Johnson, Vanessa Lovette, Damian Thompson, Luther Thompson, and 13 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 16, 2022, in the Magnolia Room Parlor at Talladega Funeral Home for visitation from 5:00PM-8:00PM. The service will be on Monday, October 17, 2022, at 2:00PM in the Talladega Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kevin Jones and Rev. Kenneth Fuller officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Olive Baptist Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Wayne Davis, Jacob Estes, Steven Paul Johnson, Seth Johnson, Damian Thompson, and Luther Thompson. Honorary Pallbearers are: Josh Brown and Jay Gardner. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
