Norma Jean Ansley's Obituary
Norma Jean Ansley, 82, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2018. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday evening, February 10, 2018, at Talladega Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Sunday, February 11, 2018, in the Chapel. Burial will follow at Eastaboga Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Ansley was Pentecostal by faith and a member of Cherry Street Church of God. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Frank I. Ansley; sons, Preston Andrew and Jimmy Gary Ansley; brothers, Jacob Harmon and James Harmon; and sister, Ella Ruth Burke. Mrs. Ansley is survived by her daughter, Melissa (Rickey) McClain; brother, William “Bill” (Shirley) Harmon; sisters, Mattie Kate Campbell, Sarah Sue (Dixon) Bowman, grandchildren, Rickey “Doug” McClain, Jr., Sherry (Scott) Patterson, Michelle Dianne Ansley; great grandchildren, Keltsey Sims, Christy Patterson, Timothy Patterson, Kandis Few, Justin Cummings, James Andrew Ansley; and two great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers for the service will be James Andrew Ansley, Matthew Skelton, Timothy Patterson, Doug McClain, David Harmon, Tony Pilkington and Phillip Taliaferro. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the services.
