Talladega- Mrs. Nancy Howell Smith, 59, passed away Saturday September 1, 2018. The family will be receiving friends at Talladega Funeral Home from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 4, 2018. The graveside service will begin at 2 p.m. at Patton Chapel Cemetery in Lincoln, AL. Rev. Chuck Kornegay, Rev. Randy Howell, and Rev. John Woodall will officiate. She was Baptist by faith and a member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church in Oxford. She is preceded in death by her father, Roy E. Howell. Mrs. Smith is survived by her mother, Floyce Howell; husband, Charles Smith; son, Kevin Michael Turner; brother, Randy Howell and his wife Kay; sister, Cathy Taylor and her husband, Steve; as well as 6 grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Billy Smith, Dave Smith, Kevin Blevins, John Maxwell, Glenn Cobb, and Phillip Pettis. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
