Mrs. Mildred "Billie" Allen Parks' Obituary
Alpine-Mildred “Billie” Allen Parks, 90, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021. She was an accomplished cook and baker. She loved gardening and loved her family. She was a very devoted wife and mother to all. She was Methodist by faith and a member of Shiloh Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, James Franklin Allen and Daisy Ella Taylor; husband, A. Elmo Parks; 3 sisters, Wanda Cooper; Juanita Millender; Mabel Coleman; 3 brothers, Leonard “Buck” Allen; Martis Allen; and Howard Allen. She is survived by 1 daughter, Marie Parks Moses (Gary); 1 son, Allan Parks; 2 granddaughters, Lacy Tanner (Daniel); Lindsey Moses (Jeremy Wilson); 1 grandson, Jason Parks (Nina); 3 great grandchildren, Mason McCullars, Brent Parks, Lillianna Parks, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 1:30PM-2:30PM in the Talladega Funeral Home Chapel for visitation and a graveside service to follow at 3:00PM at Hepzibah Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Greg Tankersly officiating. Pallbearers will be Jason Parks, Brent Parks, Daniel Tanner, and Mason McCullars. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
