Talladega-Michael Steven Davis, 55, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2022. He is preceded in death by his mother: Shirley Smith; father: Doug Davis, Sr.; stepfather: Tony Edmonds; great niece: Jaycie Davis. He is survived by 3 brothers: Donald Edmonds (Melissa), Doug Davis, Jr., Waymon Davis (Cindy);4 sisters: Tracy Atkinson (Johnny), Elizabeth Nicholson, Linda Cantrell (Travis), and Patricia Davis; 2 nieces: Hali Gentry (Adam), Kelsey Loggins (Andrew); 5 nephews: Kevin Davis; Matthew Green, Johnny Atkinson, Jr., Randy Cantrell, and Jesse Cantrell; 7 great nieces and 5 great nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 19, 2022, from 6:00PM-8:00PM in the Talladega Funeral Home Chapel for visitation. On Saturday, August 20, 2022 they will have a graveside service at Midway Memory Gardens at 1:00PM with Rev. Kevin Jones officiating. Pallbearers will be Chris Gentry, Darrick Ray, Brandon Knapp, John Knapp, Johnny Atkinson, Jr., and Adam Gentry. Honorary Pallbearers are Jason and Jamie Knapp. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
