Ms. Mary Jane Snyder's Obituary
Ms. Mary Jane Snyder, 79, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025. She is preceded in death by her parents: Ed and Georgia Smith; 3 sisters: Macie Bullard, Emma Jean Smith, Ruby Lee Dickens; 2 brothers: Pete Smith, James Smith, Jr. She is survived by her son: Robert "Bobby" Snyder and her daughter: Kim Sterling (Paul); and 5 grandchildren. Ms. Snyder loved keeping and taking care of her grandchildren. She liked to play the slots at Wetumpka and Mississippi with her sister-in-law, Fay Smith. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, from 1:00pm-2:00pm in the Talladega Funeral Home chapel for visitation. The service will follow in the chapel at 2:00pm with Rev. Randy Howell officiating. Burial will be at Pine Hill Memorial Park with Robert Snyder, Mike Murner, David Smith, Anthony Ray, Tommy Bonner, and Greg Shiflett serving as pallbearers. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
