Talladega-Mrs. Mary Ann Patterson, 87, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024. Mrs. Patterson is preceded in death by her husband: Dion “D.P.” Patterson; 1 son: Curtis Dean Waites; 3 daughters: Carla Patterson, Robin Griffin, Alicia Patterson. She is survived by 1 daughter: Trena Gregg; 4 granddaughters: Alana Cooper (Brad), Tara Mitchell (Scott), Heather Patterson (Matt), Jessica Hurst (John); 2 grandsons: David Smith (Melanie), Kevin Smith; 2 brothers: Ralph “Bud” Garrett (Ann), Harry Garrett (Mary); 9 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 26, 2024, from 12:00noon-2:00pm at Blue Eye Baptist Church for visitation. The service will follow at 2:00pm at the church with Bro. Jackie Morgan officiating. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
