Ms. Mary Leen Edgeworth's Obituary
Talladega-Ms. Mary Edgeworth, 88, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023. Ms. Edgeworth enjoyed reading and she loved her cats. She loved butterflies, teaching Sunday school, baking cakes and cooking. She retired from Winn Dixie with 45 years of service. She is preceded in death by her parents: Jim and Dena Mae Edgeworth. Her second mother: Bertha Edgeworth and 6 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her God daughter: Jeanie Moore and Jeanie’s dad Farrell Moore; 1 sister: Inez Cudney; 6 nieces: Wanda Birdsell (Larry), Johnnie Hallmark, Peggy Gryzb, Cathy Nadovich, Judy Pozneki, Angie Solum; special friend: Shirley Gaither; adopted grandchildren: Brandon and Melissa Gardner. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 from 12:30pm-1:30pm in the Talladega Funeral Home Chapel for visitation. They will have a graveside service following visitation at 2:30pm at Old Harmony Cemetery in Rainbow City, AL. with Rev. Josh Henderson officiating. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
