Mrs. Mary Jo Dobbs' Obituary
Talladega-Mary Jo Dobbs, 59, of Talladega, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. Mrs. Dobbs spent most of her life in Talladega where she loved to garden, sew and take care of her flowers. She is preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Mary Strickland. She is survived by her husband, Steven Dobbs; 3 sons, Steven (Alicia) Dobbs; Charles (Catherine) Dobbs; Scott (Claire) Dobbs; 3 brothers, Lesley Strickland; Jerry Strickland; Michael (Michelle) Strickland; 4 sisters, Linda Browning; Sherry (Keith) Henson; Sandra Strickland (Rex Hartley); Gail Henson and 3 grandchildren, Evan Dobbs; Jacob Jenkins; Abby Dobbs. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 21, 2021 from 6PM-8PM in the Talladega Funeral Home Chapel for visitation. The service will be Friday, January 22, 2021 at 2:00PM in the Talladega Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Clyde Pettus officiating. Pallbearers: Kevin Dobbs; Evan Dobbs; Scott Dobbs; Charles Dobbs; Terry Britt and Floyd Ardis. Honorary pallbearer: Steven Dobbs. Interment will be at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
