Mary Elizabeth Chain's Obituary
Talladega- Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Chain, 90, passed away at her home Wednesday July 25, 2018. The family will be receiving friends Saturday July 28, 2018, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Talladega Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the Chapel. Burial will be at Vinson Cemetery in Ohatchee, AL. Rev. Kelly Lee will officiate. Mrs. Chain gave all 90 years of her life serving God and trying to win souls for Christ as a Christian and an evangelistic minister. The family would like to extend a special thanks to His Answer Ministries in Munford for all they did for her throughout the years, and to Dawn, Sarah, and Chaplain Stan with Affinity Hospice. They are special people and God will surely bless them for all they have done. Mrs. Chain is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Chain; parents, Allen and Bonnie Rogers; and brothers, Robert Rogers and one affectionately called “Baby Brother.” She is survived by her son, Jonathan (“Deb”) Chain; grandchildren, Brandy Ferrell, Carla Roberts, Ashlea Morris, and Katelyn Morris; great grandchildren, Tyler Roberts, Jayden Roberts, and Trinity Ferrell; as well as her fur baby “Kitty.” Pallbearers will be Tyler Roberts, Jimmy Smith, Duke Garnett, and other friends and family. Talladega Funeral Home will be directing the services.
