Mrs. Mary Lou Brooks' Obituary
Rogersville-Mary Lou Brooks, 78, of Rogersville, Alabama passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2021. Mrs. Brooks was a devoted housewife and raised 2 children whom she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her parents: E.L. and Dewilda Dewberry; 3 sisters, Lydail Heath; Annette Jones; Betty Cutright. She is survived by her husband, Reece Brooks; son, Kelly Brooks (Kerry); daughter, Reesi Raney (Frankie); 5 grandchildren, Gracie Raney, Dayton Raney, Joshua Brooks, Jeremiah Brooks (Emily), Jonah Brooks (Sheila); 5 great grandchildren and 2 nieces. The family will accept friends on Sunday, June 6, 2021 from 1:00PM-2:00PM at Talladega Funeral Home with a Graveside Service following at 2:30PM at Midway Memory Gardens with Rev. James Beam officiating. The family would also like to give a special thank you to the members of Good Samaritan Hospice for all the care and compassion that was shown during this time. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
