Mary Louise Benefield's Obituary
Talladega- Mary Louise Benefield, 76, passed away July 5, 2018. Her family will be receiving friends on Sunday July 8, 2018, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Talladega Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. Pastor Tommy Smith will officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Ms. Benefield was a life long citizen of Talladega, was Baptist by faith, and loved flowers. She worked for many years at Palm Beach in Talladega as a seamstress. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Willie Mae Laverty, and sister, Sarah Phillips. Ms. Benefield is survived by her sons, Jeffery Leon Haynes and Henry Franklin (Meighan) Benefield III; daughters, Rebecca (Dennis) Rolling, Deborah (Wade) Whitten; brothers, Charles (Marilyn) Laverty, Kenneth Laverty, and John Laverty; 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Scott Phillips, Michael Reeves, Jamey Goodman, Bubba Garrison, Rob Borger, and Stevi Haynes. Talladega Funeral Home will be directing the services.
