Talladega- Mr. Marion Samuel Pilkington, 82, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2024. Mr. Pilkington liked working on his jeeps and on vehicles in general. He liked Auburn football and Nascar racing. Above all he loved his God granddaughter, Kaitlyn Smith and his special friends, Getral , and Jennifer Smith. He is preceded in death by his son: Bruce Pilkington; his parents: J.O. and Estelle Pilkington; 4 brothers: Emmitt, John, Brenton and J.A. Pilkington; 4 sisters: Leona Pitts, Barcie VanDruner, Faye Cooper, Laverne Nelson. He is survived by his wife: Patricia Pilkington; God Granddaughter: Kaitlyn Smith; special friends and caregivers: Getral and Jennifer Smith; many nieces, nephews and extended family. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 13, 2024, from 10:00am-11:00am in the Talladega Funeral Home Chapel for visitation. The service will follow in the chapel at 11:00am. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
