Mrs. Margaret Elyre Hendrix's Obituary
Talladega-Mrs.Margaret Elyre Hendrix, 86, of Talladega, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2021. Mrs. Hendrix was Baptist by faith and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Hendrix; grandson, Luke Johnson; sister, Mildred Tucker; and brother, Billy Easterwood. She is survived by 2 sons, Richard Hendrix (Laura); Jerome Hendrix; 2 daughters, Patricia Johnson; Renee Hubbard (Anthony); 1 brother, Wayne Easterwood; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. A Graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2021, at 11:00AM at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Clyde Pettus and Terry Britt officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church or The Giddeons. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
