Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Goodwin's Obituary
Talladega-Mrs. Margaret Goodwin, 88, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023. Mrs. Goodwin was Baptist by faith and a member of First Freewill Baptist Church. She enjoyed arts, crafts and cooking but loved to sing, play the piano and guitar. Mrs. Goodwin is preceded in death by her husband: Arlin Curtis Goodwin Jr.; and 1 son: Curtis Ray Goodwin. She is survived by 2 sons: Roger Goodwin (Nettie), Ronald Goodwin; 1 sister: Gail Pilkington; 7 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 from 6:00pm-8:00pm in the Magnolia parlor at the funeral home. The service will be Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 11:00am in the Talladega Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Earl Sanders and Rev. Barry Long officiating. Pallbearers will be Josh Tubbs, Kai Tubbs, Brant Malone, Andrew Pitts, David Hayes and Michael Moxley. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
