Mae P. Haynes' Obituary
Talladega- Mae P. Haynes, 90, passed away Monday April 9, 2018. The family will receive friends Thursday April 12, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Talladega Funeral Home. Graveside Rites will follow at 3 p.m. at Pine Hill Memorial Park. Rev. Robert Earl Sanders will officiate. Mrs. Haynes lived most of her life in Talladega, coming from the Pell City area. She was Freewill Baptist by faith, having been a former member of Friendship Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Susie Pardue; husband, George W. Haynes; son, Richard Haynes; and sisters, Catherine Windsor, Lucille Hammett, and Arlene Ford. Mrs. Haynes is survived by her son, Ellis (Linda) Haynes; sisters, Betty Martin and Shirley Parker; grandsons, Steven (Melody) Haynes and Philip Haynes; 5 great grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Pallbearers will be Steven Haynes, Richard Johnson, Cody Johnson, Steven Hammett, David Fuller, Mack Ford, Mack Wayne Ford, and Charles Ford. Talladega Funeral Home will be directing the services.
