Lynn Elrod's Obituary
Funeral Services for Ms. Lynn T. Elrod, 72 of Talladega, will be
Friday, August 26, 2011 at 10 AM at Talladega Funeral Home with Lynda
Milam speaking. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. The family
will be receiving friends tonight from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
Ms. Elrod passed away Tuesday afternoon at Trinity Medical Center in
Birmingham.
Ms. Elrod is survived by her two sons Russell Elrod and wife LaDonna
and Jimmy Elrod and wife Pam, five grandchildren Jennifer Elrod, Travis
and Joshua Timaeus, Phillip Gary Patterson, and Jenny Lynn Patterson,
eight great grandchildren Lillian Shea Beltran, Serrah Hubbard, Mickala
Patterson, Zarah Baker, Junice Baker, Elijah Wheatt, Jadun Wheatt,
Tyler Wheatt, and three sisters Virginia Wren Tucker, Neva Jean Coe,
and Joan Coker. She is preceded in death by her husband Jack Elrod,
her parents Jo and Euarda Turner, and her sister Sarah Jo Johnson.
The following men will serve as pallbearers: Ron and Ken Johnson, Burt
and Bart Coe, Joey Wheatt, and .The family would like to recognize
Larry Barton as an honorary pallbearer.
Talladega Funeral Home will direct the services.
