Mr. Leslie C Spurling's Obituary
Funeral Services for Leslie C. Spurling, 62 of Talladega, will be Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015 at 2 PM at Talladega Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Gunter officiating. Burial will follow at Midway Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Spurling passed away Monday at his residence.
Mr. Spurling is survived by his wife Pat Spurling; two sons: Chris Spurling (Kim Leverich) and Steven Spurling (Jamie); daughter: Shay Keller (Adam); grandchildren: Dylan Tomlinson (Katherine), Juliette Spurling, Tabitha Spurling, Mason Spurling, and Leela Keller; brothers: Tony Spurling, Charlie Spurling, Wayne Spurling, Danny Spurling, and Benny Spurling; sisters: Martha Holmes and Mary Spurling; and a multitude of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Leslie is preceded in death by his parents: Grover and Frances Spurling, and his brothers: Paul, Grady, and James Spurling.
The following men will serve as pallbearers: David Spurling, Grady Spurling, Jr., Johnny Nixon, Rick Nixon, James Smith, and Jackie Goodwin. The family would also like to recognize the following honorary pallbearers: Walter Bishop and Dr. Mark Ponder.
