Talladega- For 61 years, Leslie Malcolom Bryant called Talladega, Alabama, home. Throughout his life, he found contentment in the everyday moments—time spent with family, casting a line into the water, watching WWE wrestling, and cheering on his Auburn Tigers each football season. Those who knew Leslie will remember a man who appreciated life's simple pleasures and the memories made along the way.
On Friday, July 24, 2026, Leslie's earthly journey came to a close.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Helen Adkins and Mac Bryant; and his brothers, Johnny Bryant and Buddy Bryant.
Left to honor and cherish his memory are his lifelong partner, Marie Lovett; his son, Brian Haynes; his bonus sons, Justin Haynes and Jamie Lovette; his bonus daughter, Ceclia Lovette; his brother, Billy Bridges; his sister, Linda Strickland; and his ten grandchildren: Jordan, Dylan, Brody, Dixie, Jessica, Bryson, Brayden, Talyen, Jada, and Miley.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Cosby Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 9:00 p.m. in the Cosby Funeral Home Chapel with Dewan Garrett officiating.
Cosby Funeral Home will direct the service.
