Mr. Larry Blake Wade's Obituary
Talladega-Mr. Larry Blake Wade, 75, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Mr. Wade was an avid deer and turkey hunter and loved to catch stripe on Chocccolocco Creek. He is preceded in death by his parents: C.E. and Bonnie Jarrett Wade; twin sons: David Wayne and Daniel Blake Wade; 3 sisters: Mary Elaine Wade, Judy Wade Harvell, Myra Jo Wade Gaither; 2 brothers: John E. Burton, Ernest Oliver “Tom” Burton. He is survived by his wife: Kathy Crawford Wade, 1 son: Glenn Wade (Sharon); 1 daughter: Jessica Bigbee (Wayne); 7 grandchildren: Christopher Bigbee, Kayla Bigbee, Brody Bigbee, Scott Hill, Sean Hill, Samantha Smith, Madden Smith Wade; 3 great grandchildren: Alice Hill, Casper Hill, Nayla; 1 brother: Jimmy Ray Wade (Cathy); 2 sisters: Jean Wade Haynes, Patricia Wade Gaither; 3 special nieces and nephews: Sandy Harvell and his Dr. and Cracker Barrell buddies, Connie Colley and Kevin Smith; several other nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 21, 2024 from 1:00pm-2:00pm in the Talladega Funeral Home Chapel for visitation. The service will follow in the chapel at 2:00pm with Deacon Ferrell Hindman officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Ida Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brody Bigbee, Madden Wade, Jarrett Wade, Harley Haynes, Brian Haynes, Ryan Crawford, Drew Gallman. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to Red Door Kitchen. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
